Schuhmacher Ranch was established in Dawes County, Nebraska on the White River west of Chadron in 1927.  Cattle have always been the mainstay of our ranch.  At one time the ranch raised Hereford cattle but has turned to different breeds over the past.   At the present time we run Black Angus and/or Rangemaker Bulls on crossbred cows.  The pictures shown on these pages will be not only of cattle but of all operations on the ranch including pictures of scenery of the ranch.  I've included a few pictures of earlier years on the ranch.
